Watch this video to learn how to set up and use the Rotolight Illuminator for phenomenal results!

The Illuminator is Jason’s favorite lighting modifier because of it’s size and unique way of softening the light. Jason uses all three round shape Rotolights inside of this including the Neo 2, the Aeos, and the Anova Pro 2. The Illuminator provides incredibly soft lighting with beautiful fall off and soft shadows. During brighter ambient lighting conditions Jason will shoot with the lights facing forward, and in darker ambient conditions he;’ll turn it around and face it towards the silver reflective surface inside. It’s a truly remarkable modifier that we know you will LOVE.

Learn how to use the Dtap cable and pair the V mount battery to your Rotolight Neo 2 to supercharge your FLASH.

The Neo 2 traditionally uses six AA batteries for power. But you can use a Dtap cable that fits right into the back of the Neo 2 with a V-mount battery to not just power it, but BOOST the power of the flash output coming out of the Neo 2. If you already own any of the larger Rotolights that use a V-mount battery you can just use that same battery for your Neo 2 without the need for AA batteries. For anyone who wants to get more out of their Neo 2 this combo truly maximizes the performance of this light to the full extent.

Skip to the 6 minute mark to learn how to connect your transmitter to your Rotolight and adjust both the power output and color on your light!

The Skyport Transmitter is the perfect trigger to fire the Neo 2, Aeos, Anova Pro 2 or the Titan X1 or X2! All of those lights have a built in receiver that pairs seamlessly with the Skyport transmitter enabling you to fire High Speed Sync flash from your camera hot shoe from near or far away.

You can set each light in different groups or channels and take your creative juices to a whole new level. What’s even better is that with the transmitter you can also adjust the Kelvin on your Rotolight remotely in either continuous or flash mode, helping you dial in the perfect color for your artistic creation.

Watch this video to see the effects of using add on filters to the Anova Pro 2!

Add on Filters can be purchased for all three of round shaped Rotolights (Neo 2, Aeos, or the Anova Pro 2). Each filter kit is sized specifically for each light and can add diffusion or color gels to your next creation.

Jason has used these filters for softening the light output on his key light when a modifier isn’t available or possible to use. He uses the color gels to paint beautiful color onto his scene when he uses a second light to illuminate the background or rim light the model. These filters really can take your production to the next level!
