If you’ve ever wanted to travel, see the world, and create some amazing images in the process, this page will tell you more information about potential opportunities for you to do that with me. Complete FAQ section is provided below.
Travel Muse
A Travel Muse is someone who models for me for the various creative shoots and projects that I want to create. This person travels with me during times where I’m doing creative shoots for myself, for social media purposes, and for modeling at my photography workshops.
Travel expenses are covered by me for this position as well as compensation being provided for the various shoots we do as well as the workshops that are conducted. This role is for someone who is not interested in working on the other various photography work that I do that is unrelated to creative shoots, ie. documentaries, weddings, product reviews etc.
Travel Assistant
If you look at the picture of me on the left while I’m on a boat in the Amazon Rainforest, this is what you should expect as a travel assistant.
A Travel Assistant is someone who does not have any interest in modeling and wants to focus solely on photogragphy.
This role is responsible for capturing Behind the Scenes images, videos, and helping to create social media content, logistics and helping with pretty much anything and everything while out on the road.
The individual in this role should expect this to be a bit of an Indiana Jones kind of experience. You will get dirty, things can sometimes be on the adventurous side of things.
I will cover travel expenses for the person in this role as well as compensation for the produced videos and behind the scenes images for someone with bonafide experience.
If you lack the required experience and you’re looking to learn how to be a better photographer, filmmaker, and traveler, this role could be ideal for the right person as an unpaid intern. In this capacity training would be provided in lieu of compensation.
The person in this role would travel with me during documentary work, weddings and or social media content creation.
Travel Muse + Assistant
This role is for the person wants to model AND has a real desire to learn photography, and delve into the aspects of the photography industry.
For the right person this would encompass a full time role as they would travel with me during my creative shoots and join me on my documentary, weddings and pretty much anything I do on the road.
This role is not required to have any experience as I will train the right person in both modeling and photography as needed. Travel expenses and compensation will be provided for this person by the workshops, weddings, and other business they help me to cultivate and create together.

Travel Muse and Travel Assistant Related Frequently Asked Questions
*Is Experience Necessary for the Travel Muse Role? No, experience is NOT necessary.
*How Often Would I Be Gone as a Travel Muse? On average about 1-2 weeks out of the month.
*How Often Would I Be Gone as a Travel Assistant? On Average about 1-2 weeks out of the month.
*How Often Would I Be Gone as a Travel Muse + Assistant? On Average about 15-20 days out of the month.
*Do I need to already have a passport? If you are selected for one of the travel roles you would have to apply for a passport if you don’t have one already to be able to fulfill all of the roles of a travel position.
*Who is a Travel Role For? I’ve been doing this for many years, traveling with both men and women all over the planet. Travel roles have really never worked well for people who have strong obligations back home that require them to be home. These obligations can include needy pets, significant others, or various ties that will make it hard for you to stay focused while traveling. It’s ideal for people who are single, have no pets that require daily care where they are the primary caregiver, and for people who don’t have to take care of family members. Travel is a ton of fun but it does take a lot to stay focused while out on the road, so the less distractions you have back home, the easier it will be for you on the road.
*What Should I Expect on the Road? Travel can vary greatly from the project at hand. Sometimes it’s an Airbnb, hotel or motel, and for some remote locations it can even be camping. For some projects like my documentary work I will even sleep in my truck at times to be available to capture footage or moments when they happen at the location where I’m stationed. It’s an adventurous life, and for the adventurous type of person it can be very exhilarating.
*Will We Do Some Test Travel Trips Prior to Committing to Work Together? YES. This is a very important step of the process to make sure it’s a great fit for both of us. In my time doing the travel life with both men and women, I’ve found that a couple test trips are ideal to do prior to either party committing to anything longer term. It’s very important that both of us feel comfortable traveling together before feeling like we’re “stuck”. For it to be a long lasting fit, we have to mesh well while traveling together from a creative aspect as well as a day in and day out “can we stand each other” standpoint haha.
*Is there nudity in your shoots for the Travel Muse Role? The simple answer is, YES. I say this out of an abundance of caution because for us to create unique and beauftiful work where we create our own looks (see the “CREATE A LOOK ALBUM”), it’s honestly part of the creative process. Typically there is no nudity in the finished product as we both want to create content that is classy and can also be posted online for social media and marketing purposes. When we are creating looks using bodypaint, props, plants etc. there will be times you will be nude on the shooting set itself (having bodypaint applied, applying created outfits to yourself etc) but that will not be portrayed in the final product. This is about creating art in a professional environment. I lilke to be upfront about that so the muse is well aware. It isn’t about creating pornographic content.
Over the years I’ve done shoots with models covered in honey in the California desert, covered in mud in the Amazon, using shaving cream to create a pin up style outfit etc. Most of the time people wouldn’t have a clue how the outfit was created as I’ll also supplement certain aspects of it in Photoshop after the shoot as well.
*Is the Travel Muse opportunity for female models only? Yes, this particular role is available for female applicants only. The majority of my social media audience as well as workshop attendees tend to favor when I shoot female models and as such that is why the majority of my work reflects female models.
