Walking the Catwalk at a wedding....

This image was taken at the wedding for Sako and Alvina at the Ambassador Mansion as part of their pre wedding shoot, same day as the wedding, just before the ceremony.  The reason there are so many great shots from this wedding is because the clients gave us time to shoot.  Not all couples are willing to see each other before the ceremony, but those that do can truly get some amazing shots!

Pre Ceremony Bridals- No Photoshop

This is an image taken of Alvina prior to her ceremony at her wedding in Los Angeles last month.  This image was taken and developed in Lightroom, no Photoshop at all was done on this image.  It's all about proper exposure and lighting when taking your shots!

Taking a Break by Jason Lanier

This image was taken during my wedding for Sako and Alvina.  I was shooting the Bridesmaids when I turned around and spotted the groomsmen taking a break, looking at their phones, and just relaxing.  I turned and took this shot and I just love how it turned out....

Love is in the Air...by Jason Lanier

This image was taken at my wedding for Sako and Alvina at the Ambassador Mansion in Los Angeles, CA.  It was fun to get the group to do this shot, luckily most of them were already couples!

Kissing under the arch

This image was taken at the wedding for Sako and Alvina at the Ambassador Mansion in Los Angeles, CA.  The most important thing when shooting couples is to not cut off arms etc. and make them look like a limb has been removed.  Hope you like it!

Bridesmaids by Jason Lanier

This image was taken at my wedding for Sako and Alvina in Los Angeles, CA back in November of this year at the Ambassador Mansion.  We had been doing the couple shoot and the rest of the wedding party was waiting for us to finish with them and start shooting the entire group.  I gave the videographer 10 minutes to shoot a scene with the bride and groom and walked into the room where the bridesmaids were waiting and decided to do something fun.  They all had their shoes off because it had been raining and they wanted to dry out the bottom of their dresses.  So I placed them in the proper positions to be able to make sure they weren't blocking each other and started shooting...hope you like it!

Ambassador Mansion Wedding Images of Sako and Alvina

This image was taken at my wedding for Sako and Alvina back in November of this year.  This is the advantage of shooting with a full frame camera and a wide angle lens.  It makes a huge difference when you are in confined space and still want to get a really wide shot.  Hope you like it!

Romeo gets Juliette

This image was taken at my wedding for Sako and Alvina in Los Angeles, CA on November 17 of this year.  We had the opportunity to shoot at the Ambassador Mansion and it was amazing.  I tilted this shot because I loved the perspective it gave to the image with respect to the open doors and the roof.  Hope you like it!

Painting of a Bride by Jason Lanier

This is an image taken of my bride Alvina during our couple shoot at the Ambassador Mansion in Los Angeles, California.  I always love framing my subject with a frame inside of the shot, like through a window, a doorway, etc.  It always makes for a dynamic image.  The hard part with this shot was trying to communicate with Alvina through the window as she couldn't hear anything...so I had to show her through the window how I wanted her to pose...it was funny and very useful.  Hope you like it!
