Bride Getting Ready at the Mosteller Mansion Hickory North Carolina

This image was taken at my wedding for Aaron and Daryl at the Mosteller Mansion in Hickory North Carolina where I shot one of my destination weddings.  They have a beautiful bridal room and I was so honored to shoot the wedding there for Aaron and Daryl...I just love that couple.  For this image I stood on top of a chair to get the higher perspective which I think really worked for this shot.  Hope you like it!

Camera settings: Nikon D800, 1/80 sc at f/4.0, 17mm at ISO 1600, flash fired.  Taken at 4:51pm.

Take this Garter and Shove IT...at a Disneyland Wedding

Hey All, if you get a chance click on the websites above for me...it helps out  A LOT!  This image was taken at my Disney wedding and I have to say that this was one of the most exuberant garter tosses in my history of weddings.  While Ransen sure loves Christina, he threw the garter like there was truly no tomorrow.  It was moving so fast it even blurred in the image as you can see....:)

Camera settings: Nikon D3, 1/125 sec at f/5.0, 16mm at ISO 3200, flash fired.  Taken at 8:34pm at Disneyland Resort by Jason Lanier.

You need to meet up with me...:)

www.funphotoworkshops.com

This is an image taken in Oceanside, CA yesterday at my first ever in-person meet up (not to be confused with my 2-day workshops).  We had about a group of 10 and we had an awesome time.  Whether you're beginning or have been doing this for decades, a meet up would benefit you.  Whether I'm helping a beginner make the leap and start shooting manual, or helping a pro fine tune his white balance, everyone learned something new.  I can't wait to see you all at my next one in Los Angeles this coming Wednesday night!

Client Testimonial and Review Jason Lanier Photography

Ever been called a "Bastard" before and liked it?  Well, this is one time that I did!  Link to view the quick testimonial is located at the bottom of this post...

I wanted to share a client video testimonial that we shot during the Armenian wedding for Sam and Alvina in Glendale, California.  This was filmed at the tail end of the Reception at Anoush Banquet Hall after we shot for over 17 hours!  I love the passion and fun this couple had and I can't wait to see their family grow and be part of it.

Photographers, are you getting your clients to give you testimonials and reviews?  If you aren't, you should....

The Other Side of Las Vegas

This image was taken outside of Las Vegas after a rain storm at the end of my workshop in the Vegas area.  We came back to this dry lake bed that was holding a ton of water, and it was just beautiful.  Hope you like it!

Ring Shots using mirrors

This shot was taken at the wedding for Seth and Yvonne at their wedding in Liverpool, England.  If time permits I always love to grab the rings for shots during the Reception because there is so much to play with including candles, mirrors, beads, etc.  I used some video light for this shot as well.  Hope you like it!

Camera settings: Nikon D800, 1/50 sec at f/5.6, 105mm at ISO 5000, flash did not fire.  Taken at 9:29pm on December 30, 2012 ny Jason Lanier.
