Wedding Ceremony from the Bridesmaid Perspective at the Christmas House

www.christmashouseweddings.com

This image was taken at my wedding Saturday at the Christmas House Inn and Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.  I knelt down next to the bridesmaids and framed the bride and groom with the bouquets. This image was only processed with Lightroom as the bride wanted very natural looking shots.  Hope you like it!

Laguna Beach Canyon Bridals at a LDS Temple Wedding

www.ldstempleweddings.com

www.jasonlanierweddingphotography.com

This image was taken at my wedding for Mike and Kristina for my LDS Temple Wedding.  After they were married at the Newport Beach Temple we went down to Laguna Beach for a shoot.  While driving down there we passed through Laguna Canyon, and when I looked out my window and saw the scenery I took the time to take us out and get some shots.  It's one of the things I really love about LDS weddings...you have a large amount of time between the temple ceremony and the reception, so you have opportunities for images like this...

Camera settings: Nikon D700, 1/400 sec at f/5.0, 28mm at ISO 400, flash did not fire.  Taken at 2:48pm.

Bracing for impact, Garter Toss at the Mosteller Mansion

www.mostellermansionweddings.com

I just love this image taken at the Mosteller Mansion for my wedding there with Aaron and Daryl.  This was during the Garter Toss, and as you can see the bride (Daryl) had to brace herself because Aaron was very vigorous in his search for the garter...:)  What an amazing and fun couple...one of my true faves ever.

Camera settings: Nikon D800, 1/80 sec at f/4.0, 16mm at ISO 3200, flash fired.  Taken at 9:11pm.

Jason Lanier Wedding Photography Blog

www.jasonlanierweddingphotography.com

Hey Everybody!  I've started a blog made specifically for my wedding photography.  As I've built my brand into workshops, landscapes, and more, I've found the need to have some different platforms for displaying my work.  With this blog you can easily view images in categories which is great compared to trying to do that with Facebook.  Hope you like it!

Crystal Arcade at a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding

www.jasonlanierweddingphotography

This is one of my favorite wedding images ever.  I love the look on the bride's face, and that the groom is so happy.  I have shot weddings all over the world, but shooting inside of Disneyland Park was one of the best experiences of my life....

Walking on Water...

As I'm working on the new workshops website, I came across this pic and wanted to share it again because it's still one of my all time favorites.  This was shot on the Bonneville Salt Flats right after a rain storm and we had about 3 miles of 2-inch deep water...just amazing!  Everything in this shot is real...just wanna set the record straight in case anyone thought otherwise....Thanks to the beautiful Jasmine Cardon for being a superb model...and later on became a Jason Lanier bride!

Liverpool Anglican Cathedral with Seth and Yvonne

This image was taken during my couple shoot with Seth and Yvonne the day after the wedding in Liverpool, England. The church was incredibly accommodating in letting us take pictures there and even played the wedding theme song while we were shooting to show they had a sense of humor.  It was an amazing time and I can't wait to share more!

Wedding Castle Photography straight from Wales, England

This is the image from Seth and Yvonne's wedding in England that I shot this weekend.  Yesterday we had the opportunity to do an extended couple shoot that was a blast.  It was raining and cold, but it made for dramatic skies and a wonderful time!  Hope you like it!

Just a Wedding Dress....

Sometimes simplicity is the most beautiful thing, and I thought this image of just the dress captured the essence of that statement.  This image was taken at my wedding for Sako and Alvina earlier this month in Los Angeles, CA.  I posted a video earlier on how I took this shot on my Facebook Page, so if you're interested...take a look!

"Holding Hands" a wedding in San Diego

This image was taken at my wedding last night for Paul and Jessica at the Bali Hai in San Diego.  The image was taken this was and wasn't cropped, I purposely wanted a shot that showed them holding hands over the skyline of San Diego with the moon above them.  It was such a beautiful night...I wish all weddings could have such tremendous weather!
