Angel in the Sugar Shack at the Moundsville State Penitentiary

www.funphotoworkshops.com

One thing that we love to do at my workshops are bonus night sessions where we go to a Supernatural site and do a model shoot inside of the place.  There's nothing evil about it, we don't do any seances or use any ouija boards, it's just good natured fun in a place that will get your excitement level up.  This was taken at the Moundsville State Penitentiary at my workshop there in October, and the place is absolutely amazing.  We backlit our beautiful model Yvonne using my Sony video lights and used flash for the front lighting.  It was an awesome time, and we're going back next month!!!!

Camera settings: Nikon D800, 1/20 sec at f/4.0, 28mm at ISO 3200, flash fired.  Taken at 9:14pm on October 24, 2012 by Jason Lanier.

Classroom Session Production Still from a Jason Lanier Photography Workshop

This image was taken during day two of my workshop in West Virginia where we covered the Lightroom training session.  We had a great time and I can't thank everyone enough for coming.  That poor In N' Out shirt that I'm wearing ended up getting destroyed later on in the day when we did the trash the dress shoot...but it was worth it!  Thanks again to all my photography students who are really like family for coming!!
