Nearly every single time I shoot a sunrise no matter where I'm at, I can hear the song, "Here Comes the Sun" playing in my head. It's such a precious thing to witness and shoot an amazing sunrise because they can be hard to capture. Any photographer worth their salt will tell you that of all the mornings they wake up early to get to a location to shoot a sunrise, more often than not the sunrise is not what they were hoping for. But when you do get one, it's just magical, and it makes all the not-so-good sunrises worth it.
Many times I'm returning back to where my family is at and they are still sleeping or just waking up. My wife has learned that she doesn't even need to ask how good the sunrise was, because she can tell by the look on my face. I feel closer to God every time I shoot a sunrise or sunset, I think they are two of God's daily gifts to us on earth....
