This is an image I took of the former Miss Colorado Jamie Dukehart-Conti in the hills of Los Angeles. Brides are quite often so rushed and frazzled on the day of their wedding that I thought it would be a blast to a shoot showing the other side of what a bride can be. Completely cool, not worrying about their dress, and just not having a care in the world. Hope you like it!

Los Angeles Wedding Photography
This image was taken last month at my wedding for Cameron and Whitney. They got married at the Los Angeles Temple and then we went to the Disney Concert Hall and the Court Building down the street that has been used in countless movies and TV shows for decades. It's an absolutely beautiful building and I'm so happy we had the opportunity to be able to shoot there. Being that it was a Saturday it was pretty empty which made getting shots like this one so easy and fun!

One of my favorite things to do is make brides do things that make no sense. Why would a bride be bathing in a wedding gown and veil in a creek? Truth is she wouldn't. Any person wouldn't bathe with clothes on...but where's the fun in shooting that?
I find things are much more seductive and beautiful when there is a lot left to the imagination. I asked Jamie to get into the water and pretend to bathe. Again, while it makes no sense that a bride would be doing that....I thought it made for some pretty cool shots. I'm still editing some more shots of this shoot that I really love but that's for sharing tomorrow!

I had the great opportunity to do a bridal shoot with Ms. Colorado from the Ms. America Pageant, the beautiful Jamie Dukehart-Conti. I found a location north of Los Angeles and we just shot away. This was literally the 1st image I took through the camera when we started the shoot, but it did require some prep time to make it happen. The thing I like most about this shot are the position of her legs. The positioning in my opinion shows the legs as feminine, modest, and sexy all at the same the time. I love it when shots do that. We did a huge shoot that lasted for hours that included a beautiful stream and pond, the forest, and a 1950's dump truck. I'm headed off to Idaho with the family but I'll be editing and posting more. I hope you enjoy!
I am pleased to present the wedding story of Joe and Lidia Lopez! One of the benefits of getting married on the 4th of July is that you have a great fireworks show at night to be able to capture something neat. I can't thank Joe and Lidia enough for allowing me the opportunity to capture their day for them. I have to thank Cameron Lanier, Kari McBeth, and Chris Cahoon for joining me on the shoot! We had a great time. Click below to view their slideshow....I hope you enjoy!
