Don't Be a One-Trick Pony Podcast by Jason Lanier

CLICK BELOW TO LISTEN TO JASON'S PODCAST!

http://photographerpodcast.com/2013/05/14/episode-11-dont-be-a-one-trick-pony/

Many times in photography we are presented with situations that are a little scary for us, where we aren’t comfortable with shooting in certain environments because we haven’t honed our skills.

Throughout the course of my career I have encountered many of these photographers during my shoots and I’ve had the opportunity to help many photographers break out of this rut at my workshops.  This podcast is about making your photography different, knowing how and being prepared to shoot in any situation that is thrust at you, and assuring your client that you can give them what they seek.  It’s a great feeling to know that you aren’t limited to a single type of photography and that given the circumstance you can rise to the occasion.  Make your artistic decisions based on your vision, not your limitations…

Saying, "NO," to Bridezillas...

http://photographerpodcast.com/2013/05/02/saying-no-to-bridezillas-and-more-photographer-podcast-by-jason-lanier/

Take a listen to this Podcast recorded as part of a conversation at the Jason Lanier Workshop in Miami!!

First off, any bride that I've ever had, or will ever have doesn't fall into this category.  Why?  Because if you've booked with me I can already tell that you aren't a Bridezilla.  Too many photographers out there let everyone push them around, and that's a huge mistake.  Believe it or not Brides actually prefer it when you have the confidence and experience to lead the shoot.  If you know what you're doing, the last thing they wanna do is boss you around and direct the shoot.  Not all, but but if a bride is going to lose it, it'll be because the people around them don't know what they're doing.
