Romeo and Juliette

This image was taken at the Ambassador Mansion in Los Angeles, CA for my wedding for Sako and Alvina.  When I first saw the balcony I knew I wanted to do a shot with her on the top and him on the ground.  We used off camera flash for this shot to light Sako and I exposed for Alvina.  Hope you like it!

"Inside, Out" by Jason Lanier

This image was taken at my wedding for Sam and Alvina in Los Angeles, CA.  We had the opportunity to shoot inside the Ambassador Mansion in Pasadena, CA and it was beautiful.  The minute I saw this window and the balcony outside, I knew I wanted to place the bride outside and groom inside, almost as if the groom is window shopping for the girl of his dreams.  I used off camera flash to light the groom and natural light for the bride.  Hope you like it!

Just a Wedding Dress....

Sometimes simplicity is the most beautiful thing, and I thought this image of just the dress captured the essence of that statement.  This image was taken at my wedding for Sako and Alvina earlier this month in Los Angeles, CA.  I posted a video earlier on how I took this shot on my Facebook Page, so if you're interested...take a look!

"Holding Hands" a wedding in San Diego

This image was taken at my wedding last night for Paul and Jessica at the Bali Hai in San Diego.  The image was taken this was and wasn't cropped, I purposely wanted a shot that showed them holding hands over the skyline of San Diego with the moon above them.  It was such a beautiful night...I wish all weddings could have such tremendous weather!

Laziest Bride in the World...and probably one of the happiest!

This image was taken in the US Virgin Islands on St. John during one of my bridal shoots/trash the dress shoots.  It was so much fun and the bride was totally amazing.  The funniest thing is that as peaceful as this looks, it was actually pretty rough under the tree when the waves would come up.  I actually got my foot cut pretty good because the water brought up some rocks and rolled it right over my foot.  But hey, that's what it's like to be a photographer!  Another image found as we prepare the new website.
