Ybor City
This is a production still from the Tampa Workshop where we shot in the Bridal Room of the historic Don Vicente Inn in Ybor City. It was so much fun because not only did we get to do a great shoot but we also got to have some fun ghost hunting. We had a great time!!!
This production image was taken at my workshop in Tampa Florida. This is a shot of Shannon (Honeypot) and Constance (Dirty Birdy) in downtown Ybor City which was an amazing place to shoot. Thanks to everyone who came!
Wow, this was truly an awesome workshop. I already miss you guys who came and can't wait to come back next year for an amazing workshop in St. Augustine! As many of you who have been to one of my workshops knows, I LOVE nicknames. This workshop was a doozy in that regard because we had Honeypot, Deuce Bigalow, Cuddles, Dirty Birdy, Lord Jason, Roto Rooter...just to name a few.
It was an amazing two days where we went down to Fort Desoto on Tuesday and shot a gorgeous sunset where we did a swimsuit shoot. And then on Wednesday we went and shot fashion photography all through the streets of Ybor City which was just awesome.
We ended the night with a truly epic shoot where we got the run of the entire hotel at the Historic Don Vicente Inn which is allegedly haunted. There we did an entire ghost hunt for fun, but even more awesome was we did a bridal shoot in a wedding gown for over 3 hours! The Don Vicente does about 70 weddings a year so this place was perfect for our shoot.
We shot on grand staircases which massive chandeliers, antique couches, the bridal suite, the restaurant, bar, etc. It was honestly one of the best shoots I've ever done at a workshop. The owners were so unbelievably accommodating it made the experience just unforgettable.
I can't wait to share the pics from this workshop. I need to thank Scotty (Cuddles) for being the local organizer, and Constance (Dirty Birdy) for being such a great model. A HUGE thanks to all those who attended and made this workshop so special! Pics to come as soon as I can!!!
