Uncovering Covid-19- a Documentary series

The Coronavirus Pandemic is affecting people all around the world. Medical professionals, law enforcement Officers, small businesses, and people throughout the nation are taking significant changes to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus. Here at Jason Lanier Photography we aim to create a documentary that highlights first hand insight from the people living in America during this significant moment in history. We are seeking people who have a unique story to share regarding this situation. Further information about the shoot or interview can be found below. What will the Shoot be like?

During the photoshoot or interview Jason’s goal is to photograph you doing your everyday routine at work while following CDC guidelines. We would like to know how Covid-19 is impacting your work. What changes have occurred and what changes may remain after Covid ends. The interview will take about an hour. Jason will bring his light and camera. The event will be recorded for a YouTube documentary, Covid-19 in America.

Who are we looking to interview?

We want to hear the first-hand perspective of anyone in America who has a Covid-19 related story to share. We have interviewed nurses, law enforcement officers, small businesses, and transit authority personnel. Our goal with this documentary is to provide an objective story that highlights what the people in America are experiencing during this time.

What precautions will we be taking?

All shoots and interviews will be in accordance with CDC guidelines. The shoots will be small group events of less than 10 people. We will be practicing social distancing during the shoot. All persons must remain 6 ft away from one another. There will be no physical contact during the shoot and frequently used gear will be disinfected. Interviews with people who are elderly or have a weakened immune system will occur via Skype. Jason’s Skype username is jasonlanierphotography. Terms and Conditions

This is an agreement between Jason Lanier Photography and the Subject named below (the subject), relating to the use of photographs and video footage taken on the TFI photographic/video session(s) detailed below. This agreement applies to images and any video footage taken of the named subject and includes any and all session(s) that are done between Jason Lanier Photography and the named subject at any time, past present and future. CONDITIONS OF USE:  The images from this session may only be used by Jason Lanier and the subject and anyone else having a direct involvement in the creation of the images (including, but not limited to, Stylist, Make Up Artist, etc). They may be used in any way for the promotion of the participants, as examples of their work (including, but not limited to, web sites, portfolio, agency use, etc.) on a non-commercial basis. They may be used in any commercial manner (including, but not limited to, sales of prints, use in 'pay-to-view' or subscription web sites, sales to magazines, etc.) by Jason Lanier Photography. They may NOT be used in any commercial manner (including, but not limited to, sales of prints, use in 'pay-to-view' or subscription web sites, sales to magazines, etc.) by the subject or any other participants in the shoot without the express written permission of Jason Lanier Photography. The copyright to all images remains with Jason Lanier, with licenses granted to the subject and the named participants for use as above. The images may not be displayed in any altered form (other than altering size or making a print) without the consent of the photographer. Proof images may also not be displayed without proper processing. Any video footage that Jason Lanier Photography takes during the session as a documentary basis for the purposes of promotion, training, and for all commercial purposes remains the exclusive copyright of Jason Lanier Photography. The model or any other participants involved in the shoot will NOT receive a copy of any video footage. All participants are required to give a photo credit to Jason Lanier Photography whenever any picture is posted either online or in print. RELEASE OF LIABILITY- Please understand that you are conducting this shoot with Jason Lanier of your own free will. You (the subject) will not hold Jason Lanier responsible for any harm or accident that comes upon you and/or for any possible legal issues that may arise from a shoot location. Simply stated, you are responsible for your actions and are a willing participant with the shoot. Jason Lanier will never force you to do anything you do not want to do.

Please note that due to the fact that Jason Lanier uses the images for many purposes including video work, Youtube, etc. images may be ready and sent to the subject anywhere between 14 days up to 180 days. Normal turnaround time is typically 1 month depending on work schedule for TF shoots. For any questions related to the timing of the images being sent please ask a member of Jason Lanier Photography for clarification.

Filming Policy

I understand and agree that Jason Lanier Photography may take video of the shoot to use in marketing materials, for sale, Youtube etc and that I will not be compensated for this is any way.
