As I'm preparing the launch of my all new landscape website and online store, we're browsing through my images and I came upon this one. This is a production still but it shows just how close I come to these amazing animals. This picture in particular was shot while in Africa and I'm only 10 feet from a male lion and African Buffalo as I'm shooting them during a standoff. Talk about real life drugs....Africa is it!
Many times I'm asked just how close I come to the animals I shoot so I thought I'd share this shot. There are no fences, no park rangers, nothing....just me and the animals. You can see my car window in the shot as well which shows you just how close I was...hope you like it!
